A unique platform for online pellet shopping

Another company from the IT sector is supported by Challenge Fund funds. This is the company "DVC Solutions" from Banja Luka, which applied with the project "Platform for improving the sector of biomass producers, support to buyers of heating pellets, as well as connecting in the sector."

"The primary idea was to create a specialized platform for online purchase of pellets by the population and the economy, which does not exist in BiH or in the European Union. In addition to the development of the platform itself, the project also included the acquisition and training of pellet producers located on the platform, and at the same time we promoted the platform in online media in order to attract pellet buyers. In the end, a conference was held within the project, which gathered pellet producers, potential and current buyers, as well as public institutions and other organizations in one place, "they explained from this company.

The total value of the project was 48.000 EUR, of which “DVC Solutions” invested 58,33% of its own funds, and the rest of the investment was grants from the C2C fund.

“By implementing this project, we have gained multiple benefits. The development/adaptation of the platform itself was a kind of technical challenge that we successfully mastered and gained additional technical knowledge and experience. In addition, thanks to the project, we hired new employees in our company and expanded the network of business contacts and opened the door for many other business activities. The development of our own product in the field of informatics is a very challenging process and includes many other activities besides the technical implementation itself. We went through these activities very successfully and we would definitely not have succeeded without the support of the C2C fund ", they said in “DVC Solutions”.

They add that the fund supports large, serious business ventures that have a positive impact on the domestic economy, and the focus on innovation has a positive impact on the domestic market.

“DVC Solutions” was founded in 2013 and over time has developed from a small entrepreneurial company into a serious IT company that realizes complex business and significantly increases the share of exports in total revenue. In addition to its headquarters in Banja Luka, it also has offices in Halmstad (Sweden) and Chicago (USA), has over 20 employees, and even generates over 95% of its income from foreign customers (USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Austria).
